2. bliss 极乐，狂喜；天赐之福
Lying on a sunny beach is my idea of sheer bliss.
我认为躺在沙滩上晒太阳是最大的幸福。
wedded/domestic bliss
婚姻／家庭生活的幸福
bliss也可以作动词，翻译成“欣喜若狂，狂喜，乐不可支”。
常见搭配有：bliss (sb) out，来个例句：
I like to go off on my own - to sit back and bliss out in a darkened movie theater.
我喜欢独自外出??舒服地坐在漆黑的电影院里，乐在其中。
要注意的是，bliss和bless长的相似，但是词性和意思很不相同。
bless的意思是“祝福；使神圣”，是及物动词；bliss意为“快乐”或“幸福”，是名词。
3. blessedness 幸福；福音
blessed是形容词，表示“神圣的；有福的；愉快的”。blessedness就看作是blessed的名词形式。
single blessedness常用来开玩笑，形容独身、未婚之福，比如：
live in single blessedness
过单身生活
而我们中文里所说的“福气”，我觉得就可以用blessing表示。这个单词的意思是“幸事；喜事”。
His illness was a blessing in disguise, because he afterwards married his nurse.
他生病倒是因祸得福，因为后来他和他的护士结了婚。
4. eudaemonia 幸福
这个词指因理性而积极生活所带来的幸福，尤指亚里士多德哲学中的理性健康生活。

5. euphoria 幸福愉快感
They were in a state of euphoria for days after they won the prize.
获奖之后一连几天他们都处于亢奋状态。
《哈利?波特》里的欢欣剂就翻译成了Elixir to Induce Euphoria。带有阳光般金黄色的欢欣剂会给服用它的人一种幸福感。
elixir是一种通常为液体的万灵药，长生不老药。
6. felicity 幸福，幸运，快乐
这是一个偏文学性的词语，比如：
joy and felicity
快乐和幸福
Felicity is easily found, but hard to be kept.
找到幸福容易，维持幸福困难。
felicity也可以翻译成“恰当的语句；精妙的评论”，比如：
Her article contained one or two verbal felicities that will stay in my mind for years.
她的文章中有一两处精妙之语，会令我多年难以忘怀。
7. weal 福利；幸福
for weal and woe
无论在顺境或逆境；无论是祸是福
之前上热搜的最美翻译官张璐就把“苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之”这句话翻译为：
I shall dedicate myself to the interests of the country in life and death irrespective of personal weal and woe.
8. welfare 福利；福利事业；幸福
My principal concern is my family's welfare.
我至为关心的是我一家的幸福。

We had a whale of a time on holiday.

2. on cloud nine 高兴极了；异常兴奋；乐不可支

“海伦得到那份工作高兴吗？”“岂止是高兴？她简直飘飘然了！”
3. tickled pink 欢天喜地
I was tickled pink when I found I had won a prize in the lottery.
